My name is Jacob Healt. I am a photographer, videographer, and designer from Boonville, NY. I am currently enrolled at Ithaca College for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film, Photography, and Visual Arts.
My artistic works tend to be about my life. I always try to use my power as a photographer and artist to tell the story of a person, place, or object. Much of the art I have experienced has influenced how I take my photos. Whether from works seen at my hometown fair to music from artists like The Goo Goo Dolls, Taylor Swift, and Beyonce. My photography style may be considered tableau, but I don't want to confine myself to that genre. I take photos of my interests, capture people who are important to me, and just things that I think are visually pleasing. I like my art to have a particular look that feels nostalgic to me, whether in its lighting, composition, or both. These are the things that are important to me in all of my art, not just photography.
